WHAT TO EXPECT
La FINCA del NINO
We will spend seven nights at LaFinca which has three villas built in the style of a traditional Hacienda. Each villa has it’s own kitchen and private patios. The grounds are filled with flowers; a swimming pool; tennis court and walking trails. This rustic, charming working farm is set in ten acres, with the main crop being mango. We are perched on a hilltop overlooking the Mediterranean. We will also be staying 2 nights at Hotel Malaga Premium in Malaga’s historic city center.
FABULOUS FOOD
Enough to make your mouth water…Malaga city progressive gourmet tasting menu walking tour, local vineyard including tour, wine tasting and gourmet lunch paired with wine, visit to traditional olive mill, press oil, learn about the process, olive oil tasting, a Paella party, sardines on the beach…
TRADITIONAL COOKING CLASSES
Traditional cooking class at a private home in the mountains. A delicious lunch is included in both activities. Location of cooking class is ‘La Rosilla’ in the Montes de Malaga – between the white villages of Comares and Colmenar.
MARKETS
We will venture out to the white villages, mountain towns, local markets, the Moorish Market in Malaga. Take in the local and traditional cooking spices and foods of the region and do some shopping at these fantastic open-air markets.
SARDINES ON THE BEACH
After touring local vineyards, wine tasting and a gormet lunch you can look forward to traditional sardines on the fire and a relaxing evening strolling beaches in Benajarafe.
MUSIC
While at the FInca, Denis has invited top professional performers to entertain us. We will enjoy Flamenco; Classical Spanish guitar and a duo of singers who play the pan flute and guitar. It is performed by the audience as well as the artiste and anyone else who feels the urge to participate. These performances will be at our villa after dinner.
